Our Braille Finders have left Ferbania behind, but Italy still has many discoveries in store for them and for us at Braille 200.
Only about 53 miles further, in Bergamo, they came across their next work of art—
a detailed model of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore.
Image descriptions

It stands on a round brass table. Visitors can touch the architecture of the basilica and the surrounding buildings.
On the back of the basilica, the following is written in black lettering and Braille: Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Scale 1:100 and Piazza Rosate.

There, in black lettering and Braille, it says: Ateneo.
At the bottom, you can read: Studio Habilis. Skycrab Formazione e Rilievi 3D con Drone and a QR code.

The labels there are: Palazzo Vescovile, Aula Picta, and Tempietto S. Croce.

The tower, the richly decorated entrance portal, and a dome are particularly easy to recognize.
The following words are written here in black lettering and Braille: Palazzo della Ragione, Cappella Colleoni, Battistero, Sei Qui/You Are Here, and a symbol for the north direction. The entrance to the basilica faces north, and the tactile model is located directly in front of it.
At the bottom it says: Modelleria Leonessa. Art Model Maker Stefano Orizio. Arch. Model Maker Francesco Imberti.
