Let’s play, let’s Braille: Stardew valley

In the cozy farming simulator game Stardew Valley a gardener took inspiration from this year’s braille anniversary celebrations. The video starts in the gardener’s house, everything in the cute, pixelated visuals reminiscent of old 2D retro games. The gardener finds a wrapped gift on his floor containing 15 parsnip seeds. He then steps out of his house and finds his entire property overgrown and littered with rocks. He starts getting to work, using a pickaxe, an axe, and a scythe to clean up his garden, even cutting down a tree. During the video all work steps are first shown in normal speed to be then sped up to a very high playback speed. Once done with cleanup, the gardener uses a hoe to prepare a plot for sowing the parsnip seeds. Soon he gets too tired to proceed he returns to his house and goes to bed to sleep for the night. After finishing to prepare the soil he walks to the nearby town square and enters a shop to buy some additional parsnip seeds. He then returns to his garden and plants the seeds to be arranged like braille letters forming the words “braille 200”. He then uses a watering can water the seeds and returns to bed again. The next morning, he wakes up to a rainy day. The seeds already have started sprouting. Since the rain is doing the watering for him the gardener goes back to bed. When waking up again on the next day the rain has stopped, and he walks over to nearby pond to fill up his watering can and start taking care of his plants. This process repeats for one more day. Then, on the next day, it is raining again but the parsnips already have grown to their full size. The Gardener hides away from the rain in his bed. Upon returning to a sunny day, he walks to the middle of his little garden to gaze upon his braille plants. He then harvests the parsnips one by one, eats one, and walks off the screen.
