In Slovakia, the Braille Authority of Slovakia produces a podcast titled Stobodové šesťbodové, which can be translated as One Hundred Points, Six-Dots.
Launched in 2022 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Louis Braille’s birth and World Braille Day, the podcast serves as a source of engaging content about Braille for interested audiences.
The name One Hundred Points, Six-Dots was chosen to emphasize the significance of Braille in the lives of blind individuals. It features information on Braille and tactile graphics from a broad range of fields, along with personal stories highlighting Braille’s role in education, employment, and leisure activities.
A new episode, be it a story, report, or interview with a notable guest—is released monthly, always on the fourth day.
